Back in 1973 Bristol was celebrating 600 years of being a City, following the Royal Charter granted in 1373 by King Edward.
Part of the celebration was a competition for local artist to paint a picture of Bristol to commemorate the occasion.
They wouldn’t hang it in their show, you will have to look into this painting at the detail to have your own opinion.
